Snow Day Homework

It is very important that you keep yourself from forgetting the math we learned last week. Do additional homework problems from the lessons that we covered last week - about 10 a day - to keep in practice. Meanwhile, here is a lesson worth 5 bonus points:

If it snows at 2 inches per hour, but the snow melts at a rate of a half inch per hour during daylight (7:30 AM to 5:30 PM), then how much snow will accumulate if the snow begins at 7:00 PM on Tuesday and snows until 3:15 PM on Wednesday?
