Pre-Calculus - This week we are evaluating test results. Several areas of concern were identified, such as precision, working with algebraic fractions, interval notation, and the meaning of a function. We will be fixing these problems before moving onto Chapter two late next week.

Trig - We are in review mode for an upcoming test, currently scheduled for Friday on Chapter P. However, depending upon the volume of questions, we may move the test to next week. Currently, students should be working on the Chapter P Review questions and Chapter P in-book Test.

Calculus - Beginning Chapter 2. Work 2.1 Wed eve and Thursday eve. Section 2.2 over the weekend.

Physics - Working Chapter 2. Homework has been assigned, lab on Thursday and Friday.

Statistics - Expecting Test Chapter 2 on Friday. Currently working through Chapter Review homework.

Countdown to finals

Algebra I

In preparation for finals, the students have the following review assignments:
Due 5/22 - Mixed Reviews, all sections of chapter 7, odds
Due 5/23 - Mixed Reviews, all sections of chapter 8, odds
Due 5/24 - Mixed Reviews, all sections of chapter 9, odds
Due 5/25 - Mixed Reviews, all sections of chapter 10, odds
Due 5/29 - Mixed Reviews, all sections of chapter 11, odds

In addition, we are completing Chapter 11. This test will be on sections 11-1, 2, 3, 4, 7.
Due 5/23 - Chapter Review, Chapter 11
Due 5/24 - Chapter Test (in-book), Chapter 11
ON 5/25 - Chapter Test (for real), Chapter 11

The Final will be comprehensive over Chapters 7-11, and will be given on Thursday, 5/31.

I am available to help students review from 7:45 AM, during lunch, and after school (with prior notice), as well as during periods 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7.

Welcome to May!

Algebra I - Students are to complete the chapter review and in-book practice test for Chapter 10 by Wednesday. We will review on Wednesday and have the test on Thursday. We will then start right in on Chapter 11.

Pre-Calculus - We are working through Chapter 15, an introduction to Calculus. Section 15.2 is due on Wednesday. I expect to cover 15.3 on Wed, 15.4 on Thur, and 15.5 on Friday. Next week will be review and test. After this, we will work on some special topics and some statistics.

Calculus - Working up to the big AP test on Wednesday next (5/9). Students taking the test need to arrive at the St. Margaret Mary PAC at 7:45 AM.

I will be out of town taking classes next week. Mr Casto will be substituting for me.

Algebra I -- Due Thursday, page 550, 1-32 odds. We will have a test on Chapter 10 next week.

Pre-Calculus - Section 14-4. Do 5 problems, your choice. Test is expected on Monday or Tuesday for Chapter 14.

Calculus - Working on the complete practice test. Complete as many problems as possible, then we will discuss.

Algebra I - Completing problems 1-34 odds in section 9-8 due Wednesday.

This week, we will review chapter 9. We just don't quite have enough time to take the Chapter 9 test this week, so we will follow this schedule:

Due Thursday - complete the chapter review.

Due Friday - complete the in-book Chapter 9 test.

Due Monday - Complete the extra Practice, page 710

Tuesday - questions.

Wednesday - Chapter 9 Test.

For Friday:

ALgebra I - Section 9-6 # 1-29 odds are due. I also plan to check notebooks.

Expect 9-7 due Tuesday, 9-8 due Wednesday, Test Review due Thursday, Practice Test on Friday and "real" chapter 9 test on following Monday. Please make sure all fix and reflects are completed by this coming Tuesday, 3/13.

Pre-Calculus - Notebooks will be checked. Section 12-3 is due. We won't quite make it to a test before the quarter ends next Friday. Please make sure all homework is completed and up to date by Wednesday.

Calculus - We are in review mode for Chapter 7 test, which will be late next week. At that point, we will begin alternating between AP test prep and the BC subject matter.
